When police in Lima, Ohio shared a mugshot of Donald ‘Chip’ Pugh, they were hoping for information that may lead to his arrest.
But, as it happened, Pugh himself got in touch. However, instead of handing himself in, he shared a selfie, pictured below, with the words: “here is another photo of me that one is terrible”. Writing on Facebook, the police forced had said: “There is an active warrant for the arrest of Donald A “Chip” Pugh, age 45 of Lima, for Failure to Appear. Mr. Pugh is also currently a person of interest in several other cases including an arson and vandalism.”
They added: “If you know the whereabouts of Donald Pugh, please contact the Lima Police Department, the Allen County S.O. or the Shawnee Twp Police Department. You can also contact Allen County CrimeStoppers.

The police shared what can be best described as two very unflattering mugshots of Pugh (pictured main), who clearly took exception.
He responded by sending them an image of himself in a car with shades and suit jacket, above.
The police shared Pugh’s new picture and wrote on Facebook: “This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”
Despite being a fugitive of the law, Pugh even managed to find time to speak radio station 104.9 The Eagle. “Man, they just did me wrong,” he said. “They put a picture out that made me look like I was a Thundercat … or James Brown on the run. I can’t do that.”
