Celebs Before And After Drugs
Say No to Drugs, as it is known that once one starts taking drugs,it can be incredibly hard to stop, that what is called addiction to the substance. Over the year it has been found that many people tend to turn to substance misuse during times of meltdown, stress, depression, relationship and nervous break down, but as sad this could be there's nothing more stressful than not looking your normal self in the public eye. So sad to say what started as a joke as a taste, can spiral out of control, bringing down people's careers, and often the humans themselves.
Check out shocking photos of celebs before and after drugs.
Macaulay Culkin
It's become such a stereotype these days, the child actor falling into a spiral of drug abuse and poor health choices, that it's hardly surprising that Culkin has struggled heavily with abuse problems in the past. That being said, the actor seems to be doing alright, fronting a band named "The Pizza Underground" and disregarding the negative press attention.
Dennis Rodman
Rodman is known for his eccentric behavior and sometimes striking choice of clothing and appearance. While it is known that the man suffered with drugs in the past, you have to give the guy some credit. I've never seen anyone in the public eye so flagrantly display how little he cares about what's being said about him in the press. Good man.
Robin Kelly
Best known for her work on the sitcom "That 70s Show" Kelly fell into a hugely public hole of drug and substance abuse. Rumor has it that the show's producers were forced to let her go, and seek another actress for her part after her drug use became problematic. Kelly tragically died not long ago due to drug related issues.
Kumari Fulbright
After getting into hot water when she allegedly kidnapped her former boyfriend, Fulbright's career only nosedived from there onward. From both her bizarre actions and the photographic evidence below, it can only be assumed that drug or substance abuse must have played some part in her inevitable downfall.
Whitney Houston
Another very famous and highly tragic victim of substance abuse, Whitney Houston's death still came as a shock to those who had followed her career. While it wasn't surprising, her spread across the music world meant that she left many people in mourning when she finally succumbed to the pressure that come with drug abuse.
Britney Spears
She's a star who has been unable to spend much of her life outside of the public eye. Spears has had a series of ups and down in her career along with one major breakdown. It's been speculated that one of the things that brought this on, alongside a very public life, was possible substance abuse both in her past and present.
Amy Winehouse
A woman who needs no introduction, Winehouse left many distraught after her tragic death. Her music spoke to so many, her drug use publicized so viciously, she became somewhat of a messiah, an figure of tragedy in an uncaring world. When she left us, it made many fans feel that, even though they didn't know her, they could've and should've done more to help.
Michael Jackson
After a hugely troubling childhood, Jackson spent his entire life in the press. A star from such a young age, the singer had no chance to live a life outside of the spotlight. Increasingly bizarre behavior and personal choices eventually lead to his death. High levels of prescription medicine were found in him during the autopsy.
Steven Tyler
The music industry, especially when it concerns rock and roll, is widely known for its rampant use of drugs. Both the artists and the higher ups in the industry are supposedly drowning in it. It came as no surprise then when aging rocker came out as having struggled with a pill addiction among other things during his time as a front man.
Tara Reid
While she may have appeared in one of my all time favorite films, "The Big Lebowski," Tara Reid has never been known for her fantastic ability when it comes to acting. She has, however, become well known for her constant battle with a partying lifestyle, that has left her the subject of the tabloid media and paparazzi fodder for some years now.
Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie is known mostly for her socialite lifestyle that allowed her the ability to live however she wanted, while generally not producing anything or adding to the world around her. It's not surprising then that her life descended into substance abuse. Can you blame anyone for getting bored when they're doing nothing stimulating
Pamela Anderson
It's known that the career path that Anderson took is littered with drug abuse, many coming out of the other side with serious health issues following closely behind them. While she didn't die due to her abuse issues, it's a shame to say that most in that industry do find themselves as lucky as her
Courtney Love
Courtney Love is one of the originals. After marrying famous rocker Kurt Cobain, the two of them were propelled into the media due to their whirlwind romance and their rampant drug use. After his tragic death, Love continued to abuse drugs and to this day still manages to find herself on the front page of tabloids due to her connection with narcotics.
Angelina Jolie
While it may not have been heavily publicized as other celebrities, Brad Pitt has since come out and said that during his time with Jennifer Aniston, he'd been taking a lot of drugs and partying. Maybe both him and Jolie were attracted to each other as they both offered the chance to calm down and remove substance abuse from their lifestyles.
Lets all fight against the use of drugs by exposing they distributors who takes advantage of vulnerable people
