World number one Novak Djokovic was bundled out of the Monte Carlo Masters by world number 55 Jiri Vesely. The Czech was victorious in a 6-4 2-6 6-4 bout, in his first victory against a player ranked inside the top ten. Djokovic's record at the tournament makes the win for Vesely even more incredible, taking out the Monte Carlo title in two of the last three years and on a winning streak of 22 matches in Master competitions.
